Janis & Rodd contacted me as soon as they signed the dotted line on this full home gut/remodel in Ocean Pines, MD. The beautiful wooded lot on the Golf Course made for some big potential. After meeting with local contractors, they chose Celtic Nations, LLC. Score!!! From the moment we had the initial selections meeting I knew they chose their contractor wisely. I must applaud the Celtic team for not only their attention to detail but their eagerness to please. They even built a custom nook table with built-in storage benches!
Janis and Rodd had some great taste and some cool family heirlooms to incorporate. My favorite was Janis’s mothers’ “Amalfi Coast” Painting. (Side note: Amalfi Coast was hands down the best vacay I’ve ever been on) Rodd graciously painted the frame to match the beautiful “Really Teal” front door. This painting quickly became the inspiration piece with its vibrant turquoise & orange colors. The white walls were the perfect canvas for all the fun pops of color used throughout. Thank you, Janis & Rodd, for hiring me, I know you will enjoy your home away from home for many years!
PROJECT FUN FACTS:
• The kitchen wall was knocked out to add a peninsula island with quartz waterfall countertop.
• A third pane was added to the living room slider to encompass more golf course view.
• Irish guys call poufs….”poufies”
• Doggies also love Coretec floors as much as I do.
• Janis and I can drink anyone under the table (in terms of coffee).
• Bradley Cooper hangs out in the upstairs lounge.
